Steeplechase of Charleston brings world class horse racing to the southeast. With deep roots in southern heritage, this Charleston tradition began in 1792 and will be ushered into its new era. Under new ownership, The King + Columbus team was brought in to the fold to increase awareness and engagement – we wanted to make this event the talk of town.
The initial campaign began with targeting other steeplechase races throughout the east coast for newsletter signups. Followed up with search and email campaigns for the general public, event goers and horse enthusiasts, as well as hospitality opportunities targeted to corporate decision makers and businesses. Rounding out the entire experience with a commercial video showcasing brands and sponsors and producing consistent custom content allowed for people to connect and experience the race on different platforms.
